PlanetAI Partners with Nokia and KPMG to Turn Sustainability Data into Competitive Business Intelligence

Helsinki, [23 April 2026] — Finnish startup PlanetAI has built an AI-powered platform that turns fragmented sustainability data into real-time business intelligence, helping enterprise sales teams, leadership and sustainability professionals make faster, better-informed decisions. Nokia and KPMG Finland have partnered with the company to design and develop the platform.

PlanetAI's Ecosystem Intelligence Engine aggregates publicly available sustainability data and uses AI to make it comparable across companies, regardless of how they report. The result is an intelligence layer that gives sales teams, leadership and sustainability professionals instant, evidence-based insight into customers, competitors and supply chains.

The partnerships come at a time when sustainability is rapidly moving from a reporting obligation to a business-critical factor in enterprise decision-making. According to KPMG's 2025 "Reframing Sustainability" report, 92 percent of companies expect a return on their sustainability investments within one to three years, and sustainability now accounts for 15–20 percent of the weight in major procurement bids.

Nokia has worked closely with PlanetAI as a development partner for more than a year, integrating the platform's insights into its ESG Sales Engagement Plans for key accounts. Projects that once required months of manual competitor and customer analysis can now be completed in minutes.

KPMG Finland has also partnered with PlanetAI, using the platform to support its ESG advisory sales and engagements as well as corporate sustainability activities.
